Terms of use
Version of November 4, 2026
These terms govern sellers' use of Slygo. By creating an account you accept them, together with the data processing agreement that supplements them. This English version is a translation; the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
Slygo, published by Kera Consulting (SAS, 6 rue Parmentier, 78800 Houilles, France), is an online service that calculates the estimated net profit of an online selling business: per product, per sales channel and in total, taking into account purchase, import, shipping, payment and advertising costs, returns, VAT and social contributions. It includes the slygo.fr website, the app and the browser extension.
2. For businesses only
Slygo is intended exclusively for professionals (companies, sole traders) using it for their business. Consumer protection law therefore does not apply to the relationship between Kera Consulting and its users, hereinafter "the seller".
3. Account
The account is personal. The seller provides a valid email address and keeps control of their mailbox and, where applicable, their Google account; they are responsible for what is done from their account. They notify support@slygo.fr without delay of any unauthorised access.
4. The figures are estimates
The amounts shown by Slygo are estimates, based on the data the seller enters, imports or connects, and on dated, sourced reference rates and thresholds (VAT, contributions, customs, fees) that may change.
- Slygo is not accounting software nor tax, legal or accounting advice, and files nothing on the seller's behalf.
- The seller checks the rates that apply to them and remains solely responsible for their tax returns, prices and purchasing or advertising decisions.
- When in doubt, they consult an accountant.
5. Data and connections
The seller may connect third-party services (Shopify, Meta Ads…) or import files, and warrants having the necessary rights to this data. Slygo only reads connected services, solely for the calculation, and the seller can remove any connection at any time. The data of the seller's customers is processed under the data processing agreement (DPA), which forms part of these terms.
6. Seller's obligations
The seller uses Slygo fairly and lawfully. In particular, they must not try to access other users' data, disrupt the service, scrape its content, or use it for any unlawful activity.
7. Availability and changes
Kera Consulting uses reasonable efforts to keep Slygo available and secure, without guaranteeing permanent availability: maintenance or third-party outages may cause interruptions. The service evolves; a feature may be changed or removed.
8. Free trial
Each new account gets a 7-day free trial, with no credit card, with the features of the Pro plan. The trial ends automatically: nothing is charged without an express subscription. When the trial ends without a subscription, access to the app is suspended, connection syncing is paused and data is kept for 30 days so the seller can pick up where they left off. After that period, and after a reminder email, it may be deleted. The public calculator remains free and requires no account.
9. Plans, prices and payment
The plans (Essentiel, Pro, Business), their features and their limits (number of connected sales channels and ad accounts) are described on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.
- Prices are shown excluding VAT; French VAT is added at the applicable rate. A business established in another EU Member State with a valid VAT number is invoiced excluding VAT, under the reverse-charge mechanism.
- Subscriptions are monthly, quarterly or yearly, paid in advance by card through the payment provider Stripe. Kera Consulting never has access to card numbers.
- An invoice is issued for each payment and remains available in the Subscription area.
- Any price change is announced at least 30 days in advance and applies from the next period; the seller may cancel before then.
10. Renewal, late payment and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same duration.
- The seller may cancel at any time from the Subscription area: cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period.
- To switch plans, the seller uses the Subscription area or writes to support@slygo.fr; the new plan applies as soon as it is set up.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days; if it is not settled, the subscription ends and the account is treated as at the end of a trial (access suspended, data kept for 30 days).
- As Slygo is intended for businesses, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.
11. Liability
Kera Consulting's liability is limited to direct, proven damage caused by its fault, and capped at the amounts paid by the seller in the last twelve months, except in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Kera Consulting is not liable for indirect loss (lost profit, business decisions, tax reassessments) or for connected third-party services.
12. Term, termination and account deletion
These terms apply for as long as the account exists. The seller can delete their account at any time from Settings: their connections are removed and their data deleted. Kera Consulting may suspend or close an account in case of serious breach, after informing the seller except in an emergency.
13. Intellectual property
Slygo and its components remain the property of Kera Consulting. The seller receives a personal, non-exclusive right of use for the life of their account. Their data remains theirs; they can export it.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The new version is dated and must be accepted the next time the app is opened; otherwise the seller may delete their account.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution by writing to support@slygo.fr. Failing that, the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Versailles Court of Appeal have exclusive jurisdiction.
